It is September 2023 when Decsa's Service team is contacted by a major therapeutic recovery community based in Cormano di Rimini, RN, to receive assistance on a dated cooling tower.
The customer had an old cooling tower not manufactured by Decsa that was intended for cooling the motor of their cogenerator. A careful inspection by Decsa's Service team served to analyze the situation, and by carefully assessing the condition of the tower, it became clear that extraordinary maintenance would not be sufficient to restore the correct operation of equipment, and that replacement of the tower was a necessary condition to ensure its regular use.
Taking note of the situation, the Client thus requested a turnkeyservice, i.e., a complete service, including the following activities:
Based on the customer's needs, and the characteristics of the previously installed tower, Decsa offered a closed-circuit cooling tower REF-C 005 with several agreed-upon optional extras: three-probe control for automatic make-up, Electric heater - 20°C, control thermostat for the basin electric heater, and our special DecsaCOATING PLUS interior and exterior protective coating with RAL 5014.
The work, awarded by the Client in February 2024 with delivery by the end of May 2024, was completed on schedule and was carried out by Decsa's Sales & Service team in collaboration with a service center in the Milan area.
