Closed circuit cooling towers

closed-circuit cooling towers are cooling units used primarily for industrial or HVAC applications that, by taking advantage of a mass of cold air, allow process water to be cooled and excess heat to be dissipated. As closed systems, the process water to be cooled remains within the circuit and thus is not polluted by contamination or external agents. Unlike open cooling towers towers, therefore, in closed-circuit cooling towers the water, remaining inside the heat exchanger, remains isolated from the external environment, clean and free from any contamination that would otherwise damage or contaminate the process components.

Decsa has a wide range of models of closed circuit cooling towers: the REF-A series, equipped with axial fans, and the REF-C series, equipped with centrifugal fans. For both types, Decsa enhances the evaporation of water within the plants by using high efficiency "full surface" HDGS heat exchange coils and optimising the L/G ratio at best.

Reliability and quality are also guaranteed by the UNI EN ISO 9001 certification, and by the use of coils heat exchangers designed with top-quality EN ISO 12305-3 grade E235 electro-welded tubes and subject to stringent quality control. The coils are also built to the Decsa standard that guarantees pressure tightness up to 25 bar and use at operating pressures up to 7 bar.
