The SQA series industrial cooling tower is an open cooling tower designed and built for industrial applications with water even partially contaminated with suspended solids.
Designed to guarantee a reduced water consumption and ensure minimum environmental impact, SQA stands out from the other industrial cooling towers of the industrial market thanks to a chimney-shaped fan section capable of considerably reducing air-side pressure drops and therefore the electrical consumption of the fans.
The use of wider fill packs (19 mm, 3D or splash pack) also characterised SQA, such as the application of SHP type nozzles for water distribution, and the chance of inserting different fill pack solutions in the heat exchanger section.
The wide choice of different variants in terms of structure and paneling make the SQA series an extremely flexible cooling tower suitable for all kinds of applications in cooling systems.
All structures of the SQA series are available in hot-dip galvanized steel, in SS304 or in SS316. Containment panels can be in hot-dip galvanized steel Z-725, in SS304, in SS316 or in Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP).
When supplied, the cold water basin has hot-dip galvanized sheet steel, complete with anti-legionella sloped bottom, a cooling water outlet connection, a bleed-off and overflow connection, a make-up water connection complete with mechanical float valve and reinforced PVC air inlet grilles resistant to UV rays.
SQA industrial cooling towers consist of a high-efficiency evaporator pack for industrial water consisting of PVC sheets welded together and suitably shaped to optimize turbulence of countercurrent fluids and increase heat transfer efficiency. Depending on plant requirements, Splash or Three-Dimensional filler packs can be supplied.
The fan section of these cooling towers is equipped with axial-type fans and features a special "chimney" shape that optimizes airflow distribution within the unit. In addition, this specific design eliminates the possibility of snow accumulation, reducing the static load on the supporting structures during the winter period.
To complete the offer, you can further protect the HDGS version of the cooling tower with a special epoxy powder coating available on all RAL scales (DecsaCOATING PLUS).

The ability to select fill pack thermal depending on the presence of suspended solids and/or pollutants, added to the availability of inserting up to 5 pack layers in the exchange section, make the SQA a highly operationally flexible industrial cooling tower and ideal for process cooling of all industry applications (including steel mills, iron and steel plants, cement, automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, for cogeneration and power generation).
SQA industrial cooling towers boast the best ratio of thermal output to footprint size due to the possibility of incorporating fill packs heat of different configurations (up to 5 layers of thermal fill pack ) into the exchange section.
