Our adiabatic condensers are heat exchangers designed for NH3 refrigerant as standard. Heat is released into the atmosphere in dry mode.
As soon as temperatures rise, our heat exchangers use water evaporation. In this way, they dissipate calories to condense the gas to a temperature lower than the ambient temperature, completely safely and without water treatment.
Our adiabatic condensation solution is the result of combining a dry condenser with an adiabatic pre-cooling section. We designed this pre-cooling section to lower the ambient air temperature by evaporating water on a medium specifically designed for this purpose.
Our adiabatic technology is available in a hybrid version, which uses the same structure to dissipate heat from the cooling water circuit of the refrigeration unit's compressor.

ONYX adiabatic condensers are heat exchangers specifically designed for use with NH₃ refrigerant as standard. In favorable climatic conditions, heat dissipation occurs in dry mode, with heat released directly into the atmosphere.
ONYX adiabatic technology is also available in a hybrid version, allowing the same unit to be used both to dissipate heat from the cooling water circuit of the refrigeration system compressor and to condense the refrigerant gas.
